Surprise! Surprise! Usually girls have influence when it comes to my Chit-Chat column. And that’s because they all want to be a part of this popular feature. Of course, guys are welcome too, and this week the spotlight is on Amandha Amarasekara – a content creator and model. Amandha models for Brian Kerkoven… and here is how our Chit-Chat went:

1. How would you describe yourself?

Someone who realized that there was more to life than what is shown, who believed in dreams and pursued them and aspires to inspire as much as he can to “live life without just surviving.” through one.

2. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

It’s easy. The only thing I would do, if I could, would be have a faster metabolism so I could binge on blueberry cheesecake! Other than that, I’m happy with everything about myself, flaws and everything.

3. If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be?

It’s pretty easy too. My parents always choose to pamper my siblings and I, even though we are all in our late twenties. I guess it’s a parent’s love and there’s not much I can do about it.

4. School?

I was in Asian International School, Acorn to Oak.

5. The happiest moment?

When I realized that I am the only determinant of my life; that the levels of success to which I rise are under my control, and mine alone, and that many drops of failure can fall, and even the monsoon, but it is necessary to see this possible rainbow of triumph cascading in the sky.

6. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Simply put – “A Life Lived By My Definition of Happiness”

7. Are you religious?

Yes

8. Are you superstitious?

Not as much as I know most people, although I have a firm belief that positivity and goodwill, through deeds, thoughts and words, work, and vice versa.

9. Your ideal girl?

While I can detail this at T, I would love to have as a longtime partner someone who like the perfect cup of coffee is part, also goal-oriented, radiates personality, adventurous and is part introvert. , is more likely to stay on weekends and relax with close friends, books and / or video games. The sugar in the cup, of course, would be for her to have a lively creative side.

10. Which living person do you admire the most?

I’ve always admired people who made it to the top no matter how humble their beginnings were, and then I said ‘If I can do it, so do you’ and that includes figures like Tom Bilyeu, Les Brown , Dwayne, ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Eric Thomas (AND the hip-hop preacher) and David Goggins.

11. What is your most precious possession?

It was my guitar, but several stoic podcasts later, I realize it’s my peace of mind.

12. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you like as a companion?

And, I’m pretty sure I will miss everyday comforts, but, maybe, being abandoned on an island with someone who sees it as a blessing, as opposed to a curse, would be a refreshing change of pace so… j ‘go there to go with Lucius Annaeus Seneca (Roman philosopher) or Marcus Aurelius (philosopher).

13. Your most embarrassing moment?

From the plethora of anecdotes I have in my treasure chest, the most striking I remember was when I was at some sort of gathering and just spotted an extremely pretty girl. I managed to get his attention and while making eye contact and doing my “cool guy walk”, I walked straight into a tree. Needless to say I picked myself up and headed home. I did not dare to look back.

14. Did you do something daring?

Most of my adult life was about taking risks. To come and make a name for myself, in my first job at Abans, to reinvest everything I had in a life as a cabin crew at SriLankan Airlines and to risk it all again to become a full-time model and a lifetime. content creation. Suffice to say that it was all worth it.

15. Your ideal vacation?

I am more of a mountain, a beach, a person, so ideally, any mountainous, cool and green place as far as the eye can see overlooking a lake is my idea of escape. Ideally, somewhere in Japan would be nice.

16. What kind of music do you like?

Although I enjoy most genres, I find my vocations in rock (from classic to punk to hard) and in the blues. Anytime – any day!

17. Favorite radio:

I do not have any. I listen to Google podcasts, if that counts.

18. Favorite TV station:

Again, none. I watch almost everything I do from online sources and from YouTube.

19 How would you like to be born in your next life?

A human being but, perhaps, more conscious, earlier in life, to eventually break the chain.

20. Major projects for the future?

Although I have quite a few goals, I want to achieve throughout the year 2021, including becoming an internationally renowned model, a better social media content creator, a better motivational speaker, a successful musician (not a closet) and a best son and brother in my family. I also believe that the tomorrows we are pursuing are a state of mind.
