Orchard Park Woman Gets Bombed On Facebook For Halloween Candy B
As always, everyone on Facebook seems to have an opinion. Is this Orchard Park mom of 3 really teaching her kids anything or is she a little over the top?
Yesterday, before everyone else got a ride or a treat, a mom from Orchard Park took to Facebook to tell everyone about her “tax” that she will charge her child before they get one. trick or treatment.
I didn’t want to post the actual Facebook post so more people could jump in to criticize, but the Facebook post said she told her kids that she would charge them for a candy every 10 minutes that she has to be out. walk from house to house with them.
Some people were totally supportive of the mother, saying it taught the kids a bit about finance and / or taxes. (I think it’s important to note that a lot of parents also acknowledged that they took their kids candy when they weren’t looking anyway)
However, many other parents would say how ridiculous it was that she tried to “charge” her kids to go for tricks or treats and that she should just be their mom and be happy that she was. they take out tricks or treats together and create memories.
What do you think? Do you think it was a good learning time or was this mother of 3 being over the top in her ways of teaching?
SUPPLEMENT: Police are investigating a situation in Ohio where 2 candies were confirmed to contain sewing needles.
